Our Face to Face Ministry is designed to provide guidance and support for families who are exploring the possibility of adopting a child or becoming foster parents. This ministry also provides parent training and support after a family has adopted a child or become foster parents.
The Face to Face Network provides group training and support meetings four times each year, in addition to an annual summer family picnic for:
- prospective foster/adoptive families
- adoptive families
- foster families
- those who help provide support for the foster/adoptive family
Face to Face Families is designed to help a family that is inspired to consider adoption or foster parenting, but is uncertain about their next steps. We offer to connect them with an experienced family who can help provide guidance and support. Experienced adoptive and foster parents have typically been on a journey that includes both joys and sorrows. We want to give them an opportunity to share their story and how God has provided for them. The experienced adoptive/foster family would meet with, pray for, and follow-up with a prospective adoptive or foster family in order to give them support and guidance.
